19 Weeks

How far along? 19 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: +9lbs.
Maternity clothes? Living in my maternity dresses for work. Still haven't found a pair of shorts that I like, but I need to - this Texas heat is not conducive to wearing jeans!

Stretch marks? No! Fingers crossed!
Sleep: Better! I've noticed I'm not waking up as much. It's nice to feel a little more rested in the mornings.

Best moment this week: On Tuesday we went to the doctor and I got to hear my sweet baby's heartbeat. It's always so reassuring to hear that sound. I had let some really ugly thoughts creep into my head. Since I'm not feeling the baby on a regular basis right now, I scare myself by thinking, "Is it still there?" I have to pray pray pray when those worries and fears creep into my mind! So, hearing and seeing the baby was fantastic. Plus, later that day, Joa and I were in bed and the baby started moving and he got to feel he/she move! It was one fleeting little punch or kick and so sweet!

Movement: I'm feeling more and more each week.
Food cravings: FRUIT. I'm loving fruit - cherries, watermelon, apples and blueberries in particular!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Public restrooms are still the worst. If I let myself get too hungry, it makes me nauseated, so I have to keep little snacks around.

Have you started to show yet: Mos def.
Gender prediction: Well, we'll see tonight! We are having a little gender reveal get together, in conjunction with our monthly Sunday Supper. I got a cake from Tart (of course), so as soon as we cut into it, we'll know!

Labor Signs: No
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On (I hope it stays this way!)

Happy or Moody most of the time: I've been a little more grouchy lately and with grouchiness comes whining. Poor Joa, yesterday I whined for the first half of the day until I was able to get home, eat something and take a nap. I'm like a child!
Looking forward to: Our little get together tonight and subsequently being able to get the nursery together.
Extras: We're going to FaceTime with my mom, Joa's mom and his sister for the party tonight! Claudia came over on Wednesday to help me with some little decorations - she's so crafty! I can't believe on Wednesday, we'll be halfway through my pregnancy! I feel like it's time to kick things into high gear!

Eeeeep! Can't wait to see what you're having! And I wish that I had it in me to do these cute updates like you've done!

Stephanie, do them! Even if you just keep them for yourself. I haven't been journaling, so this is a way that I can look back later and remember what I was feeling week by week (well mostly every week).
